#MoveInMiami is Aug. 13

OXFORD, Ohio (News release) -- For the past seven years, the motto of #MoveInMiami has been, "They unpack. We give back." While the unpacking is different this year, Miamians can still support what matters to them most at Miami University on Aug. 13 through #MoveInMiami.

#MoveInMiami is our annual day of giving that has traditionally been held as students move-in to campus. Even though move-in is going to be different this year, we can still have an impact for Miami and welcome the newest Miamians to our family. So help us welcome the Class of 2024 by giving to a cause that is meaningful to you. Whether you're passionate about a specific project on one of our campuses, inspired by an initiative or want to give back to a group or organization, you can make a gift that will impact Miami students directly.

Visit MoveInMiami.org to check out the 100-plus projects looking for help during #MoveInMiami. Remember - any amount counts. It's all about participation!

If you give $55 or more, you'll have a choice between an exclusive Miami puzzle or custom Miami ankle socks. Donate $110 or more, and you'll receive both gifts!

The Paper Science & Engineering Foundation would love your support! We are raising funds to continue to actively work with students in the paper engineering program at Miami University. Miami is one of very few schools in the country to offer this curriculum! Our program boasts almost 100% placement for our graduates, with some of the highest starting salaries across campus. We are very proud of what we do here!

Our donation page is live and donations can be made today! This year we are focusing on 4 specific funds within the Foundation. The first is the Mike Waller Honorary Scholarship Fund which was started last winter to help us honor the legacy of Professor Mike Waller. Next is the Williams Appreciation Scholarship Fund which gives those of you who are past recipients of this scholarship an opportunity to give back to the fund that provided you valuable assistance while attending Miami. We also have the Paper Science Equipment Fund that supports the department in acquiring much-needed lab and pilot equipment. And finally, we have the Paper Science & Engineering Foundation general fund which helps the Foundation meet our mission of attracting talented students to the paper industry.

Please help us "pay it forward" by providing much-needed donations for scholarships, faculty support, and facilities improvements. No Gift Is Too Small! Please visit www.givetomiamioh.org/paperscience to learn more about our project and support our cause in honor of the Class of 2024.
