Stora Enso has adopted a new target for 90 percent of the materials in its own operations to be circular by 2030, up from 79 percent in 2025.

The target replaces the previous goal for technically recyclable products and follows the new Global Circularity Protocol from the WBCSD and UNEP.

The Global Circularity Protocol creates much-needed consistency and transparency, supporting both Stora Enso's strategy and our customers' sustainability ambitions.
