ArborGen Strengthens Global Leadership Team to Support Continued Growth and Innovation

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (News release) -- ArborGen, a leading provider of advanced forest genetics and tree seedlings, announced several leadership updates that reinforce the company's commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and long-term growth across its global markets.

As part of these changes, Patrick Cumbie, Ph.D., has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer while continuing to serve as Vice President of Product Development. In addition, Jason Watson has been promoted to Vice President of U.S. Sales, and Wagner Itria, Jr. recently joined the company as General Manager for Brazil.

Together, these appointments reflect ArborGen's continued focus on strengthening leadership, supporting customers, and advancing its position as a leader in forest genetics and reforestation solutions.

Cumbie brings extensive experience in forest genetics, product development, and operational leadership. Having spent more than 16 years with ArborGen, he has played a key role in advancing the company's genetics programs and product innovation efforts. As Interim CEO, he will continue to guide the organization while maintaining oversight of Product Development.

Jason Watson's promotion to Vice President of U.S. Sales recognizes his significant contributions to ArborGen's commercial success and customer relationships. Watson has been instrumental in supporting landowners, forestry consultants, and industry partners across the United States and will continue leading the company's sales organization as it focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences and long-term value.

In Brazil, Wagner Itria recently joined ArborGen as General Manager, bringing extensive leadership experience and a strong understanding of the forestry sector. His appointment reinforces ArborGen's commitment to supporting customers and driving growth in one of the company's most important international markets.

These leadership updates come as ArborGen continues investing in innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-focused solutions designed to help landowners maximize the productivity and value of their forests.
