Verso Duluth, Minnesota Mill Achieves Safety Milestone

DULUTH, Minn. (From news reports) -- It's been one year since there's been a recordable injury at the Verso Duluth Mill. And the company is very proud of this.

Guy Priley, Communications Specialist at the mill, said in a statement, "Achieving one year without a recordable is an incredible accomplishment that we at the Verso Duluth Mill are proud of. It is our goal to become a zero injury facility, and we have taken great steps to work towards that goal."

About 225 people work at the Duluth plant, according to Priley. He added, "Everyone remains committed to safety engagement and makes safety their number one priority. We have had many significant accomplishments over the years, but there are none that we are more proud of than this, and it is something that we continue to be focused on as we close out the last quarter of 2018."
