MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO -- Veritiv Corporation announced the construction of its new Canadian headquarters and warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario.

"This new facility will enable Veritiv to expand our service capabilities for Canadian customers and increase the company's operational efficiencies by consolidating our three existing facilities in the greater Toronto area," said Jason Alderman, Regional Vice President - Canada for Veritiv. Located at 125 Madill Boulevard, Mississauga, the new facility will be one of the largest for Veritiv in North America. The new facility, which includes approximately 410,000 square feet of warehouse space and another 42,000 square feet of office space, is expected to be fully operational by summer 2017. The building will host approximately 350 employees with additional capacity for future expansion.

In Canada, Veritiv employs approximately 950 people, has a fleet of approximately 115 tractor-trailer units, and a network of 17 warehouses. The company was also recently named to the Fortune 500® list.
