Tony Ramm named Senior Vice President of HR and Labor of Roseburg

Roseburg is pleased to announce that Tony Ramm has been named Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Labor, effective Dec. 11, 2023. In his new role, Ramm will oversee the company's human resources, benefits and compensation, recruitment, and environmental health and safety teams.

Ramm joined Roseburg in May 2014 as a plant manager at the company's plywood mill in Riddle, Ore., a role he held for four years before he was named General Manager of plywood for the company. In May 2019, he was promoted to Director of Manufacturing. Three years later, Ramm was named Director of Strategic Improvement, leading special projects within operations and procurement. He has served as Vice President of Human Resources since June of this year.

"Tony's deep experience in the day-to-day realities of wood products manufacturing adds a new dimension to human resources leadership here at Roseburg," Roseburg President and CEO Stuart Gray said. "During his Operations leadership, he demonstrated a unique ability to develop teams and individuals, drive sustainable culture improvements, and deliver results through empowering team members. We look forward to his expanded influence and impact on the business in this role and know he will continue to build upon the well-established foundation of our culture."

Ramm takes over the role from Kellye Wise, who moves into an Executive Advisor role until his retirement on July 5, 2024. Kellye has led Roseburg's HR and Labor team since October 2012, leveraging his more than 40 years of industry experience to help drive widespread culture change and modernization of the company's systems, processes, and policies.

"When Kellye joined Roseburg in October 2012, the company was entering a period of dynamic change and growth," Gray said. "Kellye was an integral part of leading that change and the transformation of our culture. He led the development of professional world-class HR and EHS teams that will have long-lasting impact on the company. I am grateful for his ongoing collaboration in this new Executive Advisor role."
