Södra one of Sweden's most attractive employers among students

Södra has been voted the seventh most attractive employer in Sweden by the country's higher education engineers. This is the result of a poll conducted by the Career Companies Student Network during January-April 2023.

- We are of course incredibly proud and happy that students see us as an exciting and attractive employer, where employees have the opportunity to develop and shape their careers. This is confirmation that students want to be involved in creating the future together with us, says Isabella Wärvik, HR Director Södra.

Södra was designated in 2022 as a Career Company. The title is awarded to attractive employers who offer "unique career and development opportunities for their employees", according to the company's description. Of the nearly 1,000 companies, authorities and municipalities that were examined more closely, Södra was one of those that was named a Career Company.

The organization has now carried out a survey on which are the country's most attractive companies among students - and Södra ranks at the top.

Södra one of Sweden's most attractive employers
During the spring, 3,856 students attending an academic education at 28 different universities and colleges received a list of different companies. In this survey, Södra ranks as the seventh most attractive employer in Sweden of university engineers. The ranking means that during its first year as a career company, Södra achieved top positions both among students and for its trainee program .

- This is unique and a real statement of strength regarding Södra as an employer and employer brand, the Career Companies themselves comment on the result.

Isabella Wärvik, HR director Södra:

- We at Södra always put people and culture at the center of everything we do. We are happy that this shines through our operations and also reaches future employees. We work focused on this as we, like many others, have a great need to find the right skills going forward. We take this placement and award as confirmation that we are on the right track, she says.
