No injuries after fire breaks out at Pixelle Specialty Solutions York County, Pennsylvania paper mill

SPRING GROVE, Pa. (From news reports) -- No one was injured after a fire broke out at a paper mill company in Spring Grove for the second time in a year.

According to York County dispatchers, the first calls came in around 4 p.m. Aug. 29 for a structure fire in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found a fire at Pixelle Specialty Solutions. At the time, it was unclear if the flames were inside or outside the paper mill.

Friendship Hose Company is the main fire department on scene, alongside the York County Regional Police Department. At this time, the extent of the damage is unclear.

This is the second time within three months crews have battled a fire at Pixelle. A fire broke out in the early hours of June 9.
