No injuries after 18-wheeler clipped by train at mill

FORNEY, Texas (From inForney.com) -- No injuries were reported after an 18-wheeler was clipped by a train on Friday morning.

Union Pacific reported the crash to Forney dispatch just after 9 a.m. at the railroad crossing at Smurfit Kappa's eastern entrance.

The train clipped the back of the 18-wheeler's trailer as it exited Smurfit Kappa. No injuries were reported in the collision.

Union Pacific officials conducted on-site inspections of the train. Rail service was halted during the incident.

The Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and a CareFlite ambulance were dispatched.
