Employees had extinguished most of the fire by the time firefighters arrived, Hayes said.

He said the fire was caused by materials surrounding a paper machine catching fire during the manufacturing process.

There was minor damage to some ductwork, Hayes said, but no structural damage to the building.

There were no injuries.

Port Huron Police and Tri-Hospital EMS also assisted at the scene.
