Firefighters respond to fire in the wall at Green Bay Packaging

GREEN BAY, Wis. (From news reports) -- Green Bay firefighters responded to a fire in a wall at Green Bay Packaging on Wednesday afternoon.

Green Bay Metro Fire Department units arrived and found Green Bay Packaging personnel trying to find and put out a fire in an exterior wall. A spark from maintenance work caught fire on the insulation in the wall. GBMFD said crews had to dismantle walls to put out the fire. A "working still" was called due to size and scope of work done.

In total, 5 Engines, 2 Ladders, 3 Med units, 2 chiefs and 2 Fire Marshals were called to the incident. The cost of the damage is estimated to be around $5,000. No one was hurt.
