LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (From news reports) - A fire has been reported at Georgia-Pacific in Hosford early Wednesday, Dec 3.

The Liberty County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that the fire is under control with a few hotspots currently being extinguished.

Deputies said the call came in shortly after 6 a.m. CST but was quickly put out.

Additionally, deputies said there was an alert about possible hazardous chemicals, but it is believed to be only a precautionary measure.

Currently, officials do not know what caused the fire.
