On real leadership

In my column last week, we asked, "Have you seen any unique demonstrations of leadership comparable to that demonstrated in this week's column?"

Four answered "Yes," and six answered "No," but did not elaborate.

Responses:

>The manager you wrote about was truly a servant to his employees. That is true leadership. It is so rare that I have never seen it but only read about it, mostly in the Bible. The last shall be first. I have a future column brewing on this subject. God Bless.

>Yes, one of my crew members wife needed to go to the hospital and did not know anyone to call except her husband's boss, she called and he went to their house and took her to the hospital. When he saw her many years later she mentioned the impact this good deed had on her attitude towards her husband's job and the plant.

There is no quiz this week.
