The American Wood Council names Jackson Morrill as new president and CEO

The American Wood Council (AWC) will welcome Jackson Morrill, President of the Composite Panel Association (CPA), as AWC's new President & CEO on September 16. He is succeeding Robert Glowinski, who is retiring at the end of the year after over 41 years with the wood products industry's associations and the last 10 years spent as AWC's President & CEO.

Jackson comes to AWC with over 20 years of experience working on environmental, sustainability, industry standards and testing, and other issues, as a lawyer and trade association representative. Prior to CPA, he worked at the American Chemistry Council, practiced environmental law at a Beveridge & Diamond, and served as an environmental law consultant at the World Bank.

The American Wood Council is a trade association that represents over 75% of North American wood products manufacturers.
