Södra Cell buys PulpEye analyzers for its pulp mills in Sweden

Södra Cell has signed an order for four PulpEye analyzers for quality inspection online at the pulp mills in Mönsterås, Mörrum and Värö in Sweden. It is the second largest order ever signed by PulpEye.

Both the Mönsterås and Värö mills will receive a PulpEye with samplers for measuring fibre dimensions as well as coarseness and kinks. In Mörrum, two PulpEye units will be installed for measuring fibre dimensions as well as coarseness and kinks, plus one module measuring fibre wall thickness based on FPInnovation's patent.

Södra Cell, with its three pulp mills in, is a world-leading producer of market pulp. The largest part of the production consists of bleached paper pulp, both long and short fibre pulps.
