This week's riddle: Jim, Laura, and Fred are at obedience training. They are standing in a field, looking at each other, each one 50 yards (45.7 meters) apart from the other. All at once, they begin to chase each other, each running at the person or dog to their left at precisely the same speed. (We all know Fred runs faster than Jim, but spare me the simplifying assumption). They eventually converge in the middle of their initial arrangement. How far did each person/dog run?
