[Adv.] Acrowood

Acrowood Corporation in Everett, Washington isn't sitting still for a minute. With a century-long history the company is proving to be a technology leader!

In 2006, the company added the DEAL Debarker and Processor to its woodyard line-up, and followed up with its innovations in the OSB industry by introducing and selling its brand new Trillium Screen. China's pulp and paper market found a new partner in growth. Acrowood's documented ability to improve fiber recovery and chip quality in mills, as well as a tenacious sales staff that spent three years developing relationships across the seas, brought it the substantial sale of a full line of machinery for Sun Paper's mill in north central China.

Answer to last week's riddle: Obviously, you could solve this iteratively, determining the length of each journey, but there is a much simpler solution. The trains will meet in 3 hours. Thus, the mosquito travels 1071.45 km before it dies.

Last week's riddle asked: "2 trains 900 km apart start traveling towards each other. One is traveling at 100 km/hour, the other at 200 km/hr. As soon as the trains depart, a mutant mosquito rises above the slower train and flies above the rail towards the oncoming train at 357.15 km/hour. When it reaches the faster train, it (instantaneously) turns around and heads back towards the slower train. It repeats the trek from one train to the other until the trains crash together, squishing the mosquito. What distance did the mosquito travel before its untimely demise?"

This week's riddle: Take an eight letter word associated with mirth. Now add an S to the beginning and get a word associated with misery. Name the word(s).
