BURLINGTON, Wisconsin (From news reports) -- A machine malfunction at Quad Graphics plant Burlington-area first responders busy late Tuesday night.
At approximately 10:34 p.m., the City of Burlington Fire Department responded to Quad Graphics plant after a machine that prints paper reportedly caused a small fire. Fire officials said there was smoke, but no flames apparent when they arrived on scene.
Firefighters spent nearly an hour and a half making sure fire had not worked its way into duct work, ceiling and roof areas.
City fire crews were assisted at the scene by the Town of Burlington Fire Dept., Burlington Rescue Squad and city police. Crews remained on scene until just after midnight.
