My defunct mills

Jim,

I've worked at the Kimberly mill (originally Kimberly Clark, then a couple other companies), and Kimberly, Wisconsin lost that one. And an interesting sidelight, in nearby Appleton, there was once the Institute of Paper Chemistry, that was shut down, and moved to Atlanta, becoming, The Institute of Paper Science and Technology, and even it is now getting a name change.  I've worked at the corrugated board manufacturing mill (was Container Corporation of America at that time) in Circleville, Ohio and that, too, has been shut down. And remembering back in 1948-1950 I worked at the Newton Falls Paper Mill (Newton Falls, NY) and that mill no longer is there. My last company was Xerox in their paper technology group. That group has been completely disbanded. Perhaps it is a good thing no one is hiring me.

All the best,
Chuck Green
