Cenveo expands operations in St. Louis

Cenveo, a world leader in commercial offset, digital print, and packaging services based in Stamford, CT, announced the expansion of its St. Louis operations. Cenveo will invest $4 million, adding new jobs, innovative equipment, and an additional 44,000 square feet to the already 220,000 square foot facility located in Eureka, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.

Expansion plans are expected to be completed in April 2014. St. Louis-based Contegra, a general contractor, has been involved with the construction.

“We are delighted to have more than 50 new office and manufacturing employees join us in our world class facility, and to provide a positive economic impact on the city of Eureka and the St. Louis region,” said David Hunnius, Vice President of Sales and Operations at Cenveo. The strategic decision to expand operations in St. Louis was made last year to provide Cenveo’s clients with a wider range of custom solutions and ease of distribution from a central location.

Cenveo’s new versatile HP FB10000 and HP Latex 3000 grand format presses print on both rigid and flexible substrates respectively up to a 126” print area and have sharp 1200x1200 dots per inch resolution. The FB 10000 is ideally suited for large, rigid or flat POP/POS displays, banners, and posters for both indoor and outdoor use. The Latex 3000 is used for flexible banners, light boxes, self-adhesive vinyls, and wall coverings.
