You must live in the now

You column, "Are you where you are?" reminds me of the old joke that you aren’t here. It goes:

Are you in New York? Answer: NO

Are you in Chicago? Answer: NO

If you aren’t in either of those, then you must be somewhere else. If you are somewhere else, you are not here.

As you are saying, it is okay to view the past and look to the future, but you must live in the now.
