Get up and get moving

Last week in my column, we asked you "From the moment you confront a new task, from any source, how long does it take you to start it?"

A total of 25 percent answered "Within an hour," 37 percent responded "Within a day," and 37.5 percent answered "Other," with the "Other" being articulated as, "Totally dependent upon the value of the task," "Immediately or as soon as possible," and "Depends on priority."

We then posed, "My answer to the first question depended on the source."

To that, 37.5 percent responded, "Yes, company takes priority," 25 percent responded "Yes, I respond faster to my boss," and 25 percent responded that the first answer was not dependent on the source.

You can take this week's survey here.

Want to get a jump on the surveys? Follow me on twitter, where they are posted early. You can do this here. (note: all respondents are confidential; the software is programmed in such a way that neither we nor anyone else can determine who responded)
