"How can you do a piece on 6 sigma without mentioning Jack Welch?"

Hey, Jim, how can you do a piece on 6 sigma without mentioning Jack Welch? My experience: mostly propaganda, but Welch seems to have made it work. I studied statistics both in school and afterwards. Properly applied, a good philosophy. But look out for the "Black Swan." It'll rise up and bite you.
