The year of housekeeping, part 2

Selected answers from last week's quiz, when we asked how people's housekeeping initiatives are coming along:

CO2 cleaners are infiltrating our company as a way to dramatically improve housekeeping in old mills - fantastic tool. 5S programs are being implemented in our company - be careful, these can't become more important than safety. During an audit at a sister mill last month (where we are experiencing a spike in injuries) a maintenance employee said that where managers used to audit his area for safety, now they are checking to see if his trash can is full. What's more important? My response is - why not both?

Have been spending a lot on paint, need to spend more on roofing and steel repairs.

We still have a long way to go.
