Miami Machine Expands to Third Facility, Increasing Manufacturing Capacity to 86,000 Square Feet

Middletown, OH (News release) -- Miami Machine, Inc., a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty and specialty industrial equipment for Paper Mills, announced the addition of a third manufacturing location at 605 Clark Street in Middletown continuing the company's growth following its acquisition in April 2025.

The expansion brings Miami Machine's total manufacturing footprint to 86,000 square feet, adding to its existing facilities at 4251 Riverside Drive in Overpeck, Ohio, and 4901 State Route 128 in Cleves, Ohio. The additional space allows the company to assemble larger-scale equipment and expand its roll service operations.

"Some of the equipment we manufacture is so large that we could not fully assemble certain machines in our existing buildings," said Ben Moore, CEO of Miami Machine. "This new space allows us to do that. We've also invested in additional roll grinders, that can grind 30 foot long rolls, to complement and grow our roll service business."

"This third facility will strengthen Miami Machine's ability to serve our customers with fast turnaround while continuing the quality of work that has been provided for over half a century", shared Kevin Rose, Vice President of Sales.

The Middletown facility has a long history of industrial manufacturing, having previously housed Shartle Brothers Machine Company (1899-1926), Black-Clawson Company -- Shartle Division (1926-2000), Midwest Services (2000-2010) and Vail Rubber Works (2010-2018). Miami Machine's expansion continues the site's legacy as a center for advanced manufacturing in the region.

The new location supports Miami Machine's long-term growth strategy by increasing production capacity, enhancing service capabilities, and positioning the company to better serve customers across the paper, power, steel, and OEM markets.
