Metsä Spring appoints Annariikka Roselli as Development Manager

Metsä Spring has appointed Annariikka Roselli, Doctor of Science (Tech.), as Development Manager. She will be responsible for the area of wood-based textile fibres at Metsä Spring, focusing especially on R&D-related matters. She will be reporting to Metsä Spring's CEO Niklas von Weymarn.

Dr. Roselli has 15 years of experience as a researcher in the field of biotechnology and dissolving pulp. She started her career at the University of Helsinki in cancer research, and moved later to the field of chemical pulping and regenerated cellulose at Aalto University. After earning her D.Sc. degree in 2017, she has been working for Scitech-Service Oy as a specialist in the field of cellulose-based textile fibres and dissolving pulp reactivity.

Metsä Spring is Metsä Group's innovation company. Metsä Spring invests worldwide in promising young enterprises (startups) and conducts R&D activities also on its own.
