Jussi Vanhanen to join Metsäliitto Cooperative's Board of Directors

The Supervisory Board of Metsä Group's parent company, Metsäliitto Cooperative, elected Jussi Vanhanen as a new member of the cooperative's Board of Directors during the three year period of 2022-2024.

Vanhanen has extensive international experience in the forest and other process industries. He is currently the CEO of Vexve Armatury Group, a leading European valve manufacturer.

Timo Saukkonen was elected to continue as a member of the Board of Directors.

Arto Hiltunen was not available for further election to Board of Directors. Hiltunen has been a Board member since 2007.

Metsä Group produces renewable products from northern forests that replace the use of fossil raw materials. Metsäliitto Cooperative, the parent company of Metsä Group, is owned by approximately 100,000 Finnish forest owners.
