JK Paper Limited at its board meeting, approved appointment of Shri Bharat Hari Singhania as Chairman Emeritus & Strategic Advisor with effect from April 1, 2024. The Board took note that Shri Bharat Hari Singhania, Chairman, has expressed his desire to step down as Chairman and Director of the Company with effect from April 1, 2024 as he have decided to curtail his close involvement in various businesses in which he has been associated for several decades. The Board acknowledged and appreciated his contribution in growth of the Company. Considering his long association, vast experience, knowledge and wisdom in the business of the Company and to continue to benefit from his rich and valuable experience, the Board has appointed Shri Bharat Hari Singhania as Chairman Emeritus for life term & Strategic Advisor to the Board for a term of five years with effect from April 1, 2024.
Redesignation of Shri Harsh Pati Singhania as Chairman & Managing Director effective from April 1, 2024. In view of stepping down of Shri Bharat Hari Singhania from the Chairmanship and Directorship of the Company, the Board redesignated Shri Harsh Pati Singhania, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the Company, as Chairman & Managing Director of the Company, effective from April 1, 2024, on existing terms & conditions including remuneration.
