Bruks Siwertell to install new woodyard system at North American kraft mill

A North American kraft pulp and paper mill will expand its woodyard with a complete Bruks Siwertell material handling system, including a cross-over stacker reclaimer and multiple conveyors.

The new system is designed for a stacking throughput of 500 tonnes per hour and a reclaiming capacity of 350 tonnes per hour. The order includes nine conveyors, three towers, multiple service platforms, and a Bruks COSR system, which will create a total live storage capacity of approximately 57,000 m3. The equipment will be integrated with the mill's existing Bruks technology.

This system will supply wood chips to the mill, which primarily produces food-grade packaging. The installation is part of an upgrade to the mill's woodyard to increase capacity and improve operational efficiency.

Equipment delivery and installation will occur in two phases, scheduled between the second quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.
