Kadant Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Syntron Material Handling Group, LLC and certain of its affiliates ("Syntron") from entities affiliated with Levine Leichtman Capital Partners for approximately $179 million in cash, subject to certain customary adjustments.
