Andritz starts up new Compact press at BillerudKorsnäs' Gruvön mill in Sweden

International technology group Andritz has successfully started up the first Andritz COMPACT PRESS wash press at BillerudKorsnäs' Gruvön mill located in Värmland, Sweden. Final acceptance was received in September 2021.
Successful start-up and completion of the project was a result of the ongoing, close cooperation between Andritz and BillerudKorsnäs. Andritz also supplied a DD-Washer, MC pumps and a pulp Screw Press for a new brownstock washing sideline in 2019.
