FINLAND (News release) -- Stora Enso is continually developing the product portfolio. One of the latest new additions to the portfolio are prefabricated, ready-to-install CLT stairs.
Stora Enso CLT stairs are a lighter weight, cost-efficient single component solution that is fast to install and offers a full timber alternative to concrete or steel stairs.
CLT stairs by Stora Enso are ready-to-install stair flights designed using a CAD-based system to ensure no critical details are missed. The stairways are CNC-machined (computer controlled cutting machines) in the production process to provide a high level of precision and detail.
CLT stairs can be installed during construction as a single component, which removes the need for temporary staircase and provides immediate access to the floor. In late spring 2020 CLT stairs were made available for its customers globally with CE marking, which is a first in the industry.
