GLENS FALLS, New York (From the Post Star) -- A small fire caused damage to a structure above the power plant at Finch Paper Co.'s mill on Tuesday.

Glens Falls firefighters were called to the complex just after 11 a.m. for a reported fire.

Glens Falls Fire Chief James Schrammel said work was being done on the roof of the power plant building, on the east side of the complex, and a fire broke out in a small structure above the power plant.

Mill personnel extinguished it, and firefighters helped them overhaul to make sure the fire was out, Schrammel said.

No injuries were reported, and the incident did not affect operations at the mill.
