JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. announced that it is temporarily suspending operations at its Fernandina Beach, Fla. and Jesup, Ga. facilities as the threat of Hurricane Irma is leading to mandatory evacuations in the area and impacting the supply of raw materials.

In preparation for the hurricane, it is in the best interest of the Company, its employees and our communities for the facilities to orderly shutdown operations ahead of the storm.

The Company is coordinating with its suppliers and customers to help ensure a safe and efficient restart of operations.
