Principles and Practice of Paper Coatings course offered

RALEIGH, North Carolina -- Faculty from North Carolina State University, a leader in the field of papermaking and biomaterials, and from Western Michigan University, a leading coating research and applications institution, will provide the course instruction for a Principles and Practice of Paper Coatings course in August.

This course is designed for the newcomer to the paper coating industry, as well as those with experience who wish to broaden and update their knowledge and understanding of the basics of coating materials, process technology and coating property and coated substrate testing.

This is a three-day course with optional (additional fee) hands on laboratory testing experience offered on a fourth day. The course will be held at NC State University in the pulp and paper lab located in Raleigh, NC.
