INDIA (From new reports) -- A massive explosion took place on Wednesday at Orient Paper Mill, one of the largest paper mills in Asia, in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. One laborer has died in this accident, while many people have been injured, out of which the condition of two is critical. At the same time, allegations are also being made of many laborers being buried under the debris of the pulp machine.

According to the information received, there was a sudden explosion in a tank of Orient Paper Mill located in Amalai, Shahdol on Wednesday afternoon. In this tank, chemicals and sawdust are mixed with other substances to decompose the wood. The explosion was very strong and was heard for a long distance. There was a fire after the explosion.


A large number of laborers came under the grip of this explosion in the tank. Out of which one laborer died and many laborers have been splattered with chemicals, due to which they have been scorched. The condition of two of the injured is serious. At the same time, allegations are also being made of many laborers being buried under the debris of the pulp machine.

After this accident, people created ruckus by keeping the dead body of the deceased laborer on the road and demanded permanent job and compensation to the affected family. The police and administration people who reached after the accident pacified the ruckus by somehow convincing the laborers. At present, the work of removing the debris is being done in the mill.
