SWEDEN (News release) -- Norske Skog's ESG report for 2020 receives an A- in consultancy Governance Group's assessment of the sustainability reporting from the 100 largest companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

An A grade means that the company has excellent reporting in line with best practice as well as a good description of material issues and relevant results, clear strategy and specific, quantifiable targets.

"We are proud to receive an A- grade on the ESG 100 list for our ESG report. In Norske Skog we are committed to create green value and the UN Sustainable Development are an integral part of our strategy, our operations, and our reporting," says VP Communication and Public Affairs Carsten Dybevig in Norske Skog.

Each year, The Governance Group evaluate and rank the quality and transparency of the ESG reporting of the 100 largest companies listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The ESG 100 report was published in Oslo on September 7th with leading representatives from businesses, boards and financial institutions invited on stage to discuss ESG developments and share experiences.
