MADAWASKA, Maine (News release) -- Twin Rivers Paper Company would like to advise the community of a fire at its Plaster Rock sawmill on May 22.

There were no injuries to Twin Rivers employees resulting from the incident. The fire started in, and has been contained to, chip and bark piles. The company is undertaking an assessment of the cause and any damages. Twin Rivers is working with all regulatory authorities, and thanks to its employees and the first responders in the community for their efforts and personal sacrifice in keeping everyone safe.
