MEMPHIS, Tenn. (From news reports) -- An unspecified number of layoffs are coming to International Paper's IT department.

The Memphis-based company announced it is partnering with Infosys for its IT needs at its Packaging Solutions North America business.

IP says the move was done to cut costs.

The company says there will be team members that are laid off, but did not give a specific number of how many employees would be impacted.
