FLORENCE, SC (From news reports) - Firefighters were called to a fire at the WestRock facility east of Florence Friday afternoon.

According to Florence County Fire Rescue Coordinator Sam Brockington, the call about the fire came in at 3:12 p.m. The fire started in several bails of paper before it spread to other areas outside the facility.

Around 75 firefighters from over 6 departments responded to the fire which was contained.

No injuries are reported in connection to the fire.
