STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (From news reports) -- Firefighters fought a blaze at a Pratt Industries facility in Travis on Monday morning.
About 40 FDNY members from seven regular units and one marine unit responded to the fire, which was reported at about 7:45 a.m. at Pratt Industries at 4435 Victory Blvd., according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS.
The spokesman said that no injuries were reported in the fire, which emergency radio communications indicated was brought under control in about an hour.
