Arjowiggins investing in new automation system at Papeterie du Bourray mill in France

FRANCE -- Arjowiggins' Papeteries du Bourray graphic papers mill in France says it has ordered a Valmet DNA distributed control system (DCS) for PM1 to replace an earlier control system that is reaching end-of-life. The new Valmet DNA system will replace an old system from another supplier.

The value of the order is not disclosed. Typically the order value of this kind of automation system deliveries is below Euro 1 million.

Valmet's delivery includes engineering, installation supervision, training and commissioning. The start-up of the new system scheduled for September 2016.

Arjowiggins manufactures a range of high quality natural white 100% recycled papers at the Papeteries du Bourray Mill in Le Mans, France.
