Amcor announced it has appointed Michael Casamento as CFO. Casamento has been Amcor's Acting CFO since January this year when Ron Delia, the company's previous CFO, was appointed CEO, the company said.

Delia said: "We are delighted to appoint Michael as CFO of Amcor. Michael's experience at Amcor, where he has managed the group level finance function very well, and his experience as a large business group CFO at SCA, working in the US and China as well as Australia, is an asset to the Company. In Michael's 18 months with Amcor he has impressed us all with his intellect, ability to drive results and his integrity."

Casamento will relocate to Zurich, Switzerland, to assume his new role.
