Stora Enso celebrating 100 years on the Helsinki Stock Exchange

Stora Enso is one of the world's oldest limited companies and has a documented history dating back to 1288 when shares were issued in Stora Kopparberg. On the Helsinki Stock Exchange Stora Enso has been listed for 100 years.​

W. Gutzeit & Co., from which the Finnish branch of Stora Enso stems, was listed on the Finnish stock exchange on 17 November 1916. The following day, the first trade was made when three shares changed hands. The Swedish branch of the company, Stora, was listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange in 1901.
