Responding to Jim's PaperMoney editorial: A word of warning

Jim:

Although I served the pulp and paper industry for 25 years (21 as an engineering consultant), I did not see this directly. However, my dad, and many friends, worked in a steel mill (Republic Steel- Gadsden, Alabama) that had a similar fate. The new owners came in - restarted the mill, apparently robbed the retirement funds, after the former employees signed over their rights- to get their job back, (and medical insurance commitments for my mom), and then left town.

Those that forget history...??
