Quality and safety

In my column last week, I asked, "Do you think you have a "high quality" attitude?"

62.5 percent replied "Yes," 25 percent said "No," and 12.5 percent didn't answer the question. We'll throw those in with "No."

Next questions was, "If asked to give evidence you have a "high quality" attitude, what would you say?"

Responses:

Stand out to far in the crowd with a high quality attitude.

Take full responsibility

Review my works and projects along withe my interactions with others including superiors, subordinates, peers and suppliers.

I ensure personally that my office cabinet is maintained cleaned and things are systematically arranged.

Make it professional grade, I'm getting paid for this work.

I make sure to do the job right the first time.

Expecting and requiring complete, checked work. Errors cost money and in the project management business money is right up there with customer satisfaction.

Here was the next question: If you have ever worked for a low quality boss, how did that affect your ability to have a high quality attitude yourself?

37.5 percent said "Difficult," 25 percent said "Moderately difficult," 25 percent said "Only slightly difficult," and 12.5 percent did not answer the question.

Finally, I asked, "Do you believe a "high quality" attitude is a 24/7 attribute?"

100 percent replied "Yes."

No quiz this week.
