On resources

Hi Jim,

In our time the ability to use the Internet to search for information has certainly been a boon. Whenever I am asked a question I cannot answer I do an Internet search and usually find something that can help to provide an answer. What is noticeable is that the answers I find could have been found by those asking the question. Do they not have the time to do it or are they not aware of the resources or how to do a good search? Or use search criteria that work poorly?

At one time TAPPI had an online "ask the expert" feature that I was part of. It was abandoned years ago. I would be pleased to be a part of another one, wherever it would be started. Meanwhile, if someone has a question about paper properties, it can be sent to me via my website (www.papercurl.com). If I don't know the answer I will try to find some information on the Internet.

All my best,
Chuck Green

****Thanks, Chuck. We have the entire TALOtech Group Suite on LinkedIn (51 groups) that break the process down into small unit operations. You are most welcome to join any of them. - Jim
