In my column last week, I asked, "Have you experienced a situation where a colossal problem was solved by better management when the conventional wisdom was yelling "Spend Capital"?"
All respondents answered, "Yes."
Next, I asked, "Have you seen a situation where capital was spent while at the same time some could see it was merely a management problem?"
Two-thirds of respondents said, "Yes," and a third answered "No."
