Culture

In my column last week, I asked, "How important do you think culture is to achieving the objectives of an organization?"

100 percent of those who responded answered "Very important."

Next, I asked, "How important do you think culture is to retaining highly qualified and motivated employees?"

90.9 percent responded "Very important," and the remaining 9.1 percent said "Important." No one answered "Neutral," "Unimportant" or "Very unimportant" in either of the first two questions.

Finally, I asked, "How would you rate the culture where you work?"

27.3 percent replied "Excellent," 36.4 percent said "Good," 9.1 percent said "Neutral," 9.1 percent responded "Fair," and 18.2 percent said "Poor."
