WASHINGTON, D.C. (News release) - American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman issued the following statement regarding House Ways and Means Committee passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:

"The House Ways and Means Committee deserves much thanks for passing historic tax reform legislation that recognizes our industry's need for tax policies that support our ability to expand and create American manufacturing jobs. As one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the nation, we urge policy makers to stay focused on repairing the tax system that our manufacturers and others have long outgrown."
